Travelling Oz

8th January 2009.

Finally arrived in Brisbane and it's by far the largest city on our travels so far. Unfortunately, we've arrived in the peak Xmas school holidays period and everything is packed, booked to capacity and expensive. Caravan sites at $48.00 per night, wow, most expensive so far on our travels

2nd January 2009.

After our break / holiday in Yaamba, we're on the road again and heading south to Brisbane along the coastal route.

28th December 2008.

We have been in Yaamba with Noreen and Sandy for a few weeks now and it's been really good catching up with them. It's also given us a good break from being on the road and suppose you could say we've had a holiday from the rigours of filming and travelling, we've just been chilling out, catching up with things and relaxing.

5th December 2008.

A two day drive all the way back up to Townsville so Marlene could see the specialist, then some more sight seeing as we again headed south.

25th November 2008.

A two day trip south from Airlie Beach with an overnight stop in Gladstone saw us arrive in Hervey Bay in time to put the caravan into storage, purchase our permits and get to the ferry at River Heads in time for the 4:30 ferry across to Fraser Island.
